Employee Benefits

Niven offers competitive benefits, including:

Health Insurance
Medical Insurance (including Prescription Drug coverage) is offered through Humana. Niven Marketing pays 80% of the insurance premium. The PPO plan with Humana offers a wide variety of nation wide Doctors and Hospitals. You may enroll in this plan at any time. Also Humana has an excellent website that you can utilize to keep track you and/or your family claims, search doctors, inquire on benefits, and much more.

Dental Insurance
Dental Insurance is offered through Assurant. Niven Marketing pays 80% of the insurance premium. Preventative care is covered at 100% in and out of network. The plan does allow you to choose any dentist, but you receive a higher benefit by using a dentist within the network for any services after preventative care. You may enroll in this plan at any time.

Vision Insurance
Vision Insurance is offered through VSP. Niven Marketing pays 80% of the insurance premium. You will receive the highest benefit amount if you stay within the VSP network. Some cost benefits are annual eye exams, and discounts on glasses, contacts, and Lasik services. Vision and Dental insurances are grouped together and can be enrolled in at any time.

Short-Term/Long Term Disability
Both Short Term and Long Term Disability are offered through Reliance Insurance Company. Niven Marketing pays for 100% of the insurance premiums. Short term disability starts the 8th consecutive day of disability and can last up to a maximum of 13 weeks. After 13 weeks, Long Term Disability starts immediately. Both pay at 60% of your weekly income with a maximum benefit of $1,000 per week. All full-time Niven Marketing employees are covered by this benefit.

Group Term Life Insurance
Every employee has a Group Term Life Insurance Policy of $15,000 with Reliance Standard Life. Niven Marketing pays for 100% of the insurance premium. You can change your beneficiary to this policy at any time.

401(k) Retirement Savings Plan
A 401(k) Plan is offered through Trans America. Trans America is one of the country’s premier 401(k) providers due to the wide array and quality of its investment options and educational resources. Niven Marketing pays for 100% of the administrative costs of the Plan. You can enroll in this plan at the first of any month and you can also change your enrollment contribution at the first of any month.

Tuition Reimbursement
All full-time employees with twelve months of continuous service may apply for tuition reimbursement. Course work must be job related or a requirement of a job related degree plan. All degree programs and tuition reimbursement must be submitted for approval in advance by your department manager and CFO. Tuition reimbursement will be made up to an annual maximum of $3000.00 and reimbursed at a rate which corresponds to the grade earned as follows: A = 100%, B = 90%, C = 80%. Course work taken on a pass/fail will be reimbursed at 80%. All reimbursements will be made following course completion and appropriate submission of documentation. Employees will be responsible for reimbursing The Niven Marketing Group for the entire tuition paid to the Employee during the two year period immediately prior to the employee’s voluntary termination of employment for reasons other than disability or retirement.
